  Since his early childhood, he was surrounded by a family of craftspeople. At the age of nine, his father passes away, thus complicating his household´s economy. In addtion of being a passionate lover of Incan culture, Simeón Gonzáles also shows the greatest interest for musical instruments his ancestors made with bones, bamboo canes, seashells, etc., such as antaras, quenas and pututus, as many of these instruments are present in some of his works of art.
    In 1995, 96 and 97, his work is solicited by the United States and in 1998, he starts a series of expositions around Europe.
    Many of his works have Quechua titles, as it is the Incas´ language, and a culture which constitutes one of his main sources of inspiration, like a generous muse.
    This young artist obtained the First Prize at a painting contest organized in his country, for the fifth centenary of discovery of America.
    Simeón Gonzáles is deeply religious and considers the artist as an instrument of God on Earth.
